West Coast Surf Shop has one of the best Surfing Lessons programs out there and the only one with a PRO BODYBOARDING program. What makes us different to others is the focus on every single student as an independent surfer we have rather than teaching groups of students, the idea behind teaching every person ONE on ONE, is on the details, we go over your body language in the ocean and how you react to different situations while surfing, and work with you to improve those details. Is very important to know that Surfing like in every other sport, the athlete or student would develop their own style and perspective to different situations and wave riding, what remains the same for every Surfer is the answers and solutions to those different wave and weather conditions that this Surfer would deliver while practicing the sport of Surfing.

A very important detail about our lessons,for security, all lessons are done under the right weather conditions and at the right surf spots time at what we do it, every lesson starts at 7:00am, this way we eliminate potential distractions like crowds, winds, heat from the sun and other weather situation that can make the process of learning more difficult.

All our Surf Instructors are Pro - Surfers with experience around the world or Top-Surfers with over 15 years experience.

One Hit Wonder

This program is for those out there wondering, What is like to catch a wave, stand on a surfboard, while enjoying the nice warm waters of the Caribbean ocean and getting a little adrenaline from just been out there. On this program we skip many steps and go straight to business, help you feel the rush of stand on a surfboard and ride a wave. We create this program for the people that just want to try surfing and keep walking, no plans of becoming a surfer or even a part time one, so why pay for a full lesson when all you want can be take care with the same professionalism as the other programs for less.

Step by step introduction to the sport of Surfing, no previous experience is needed. This program focused all the efforts on the basics, from simple details before a surf session, like stretching and choosing the right equipment to the best way to paddle out and position yourself out there, Also a brief introduction on weather, surf conditions and choosing the right surf spot according to those conditions at any given time.

This program is for those with knowledge on the basics and looking to improve their skills, more advance surf techniques are shown and teach with this program, inside techniques on weather, swell direction, periods, winds and other weather conditions with big impact on the surf.
